Friday night we went to our ABF’s picnic in honor of the last days of summer. It may technically be close to the end of the season, but it was still hot hot hot! With only a couple of weeks left to go in the pregnancy, I was slightly uncomfortable in the heat, so taking great pictures was not foremost on my mind. I did get a few shots of Claire enjoying herself with some friends at the spray park. I couldn’t get too close because I didn’t want the camera or the belly to get wet, but even from a distance you can tell she was having a great time!

GG and I took Claire to Sweet and Sassy for her very first haircut. Sassy is definitely an accurate description of this place, but it was so much fun to take her! I forgot my SD card for my camera, so these are all phone pics from GG’s phone. I apologize for the blockage my ultra huge 9 month prego body causes in some of these images and videos.

Some sweet friends in my Growth Group threw a shower for our new addition! It was beautiful and so sweet! I just feel so incredibly blessed to have such amazing friends!!!

This past weekend our bible study group decided to get together for a kiddo-free night out with husbands. It was so much fun and everyone made it for at least some of the evening!!!

Such a fun night! I laughed so hard at one point that Josh thought I would go into labor. We’ll definitely have to do it more often! I’m so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing ladies!!!

This weekend Josh worked on getting more of the new nursery ready, and was pleased to have a little assistant.
She helped primarily by picking up extra pieces of molding and drawing on the instructions for the crib.
Since Daddy was holding molding up to the wall, Claire thought she would put her piece on the back of the changing table.
She was instrumental in helping Josh level and mark the molding.
Thanks to their teamwork we are one step closer to a finished nursery!
