Anybody else excited that as it gets closer to Christmas the movie “Elf” will be on a lot? I just can’t get enough of that movie around this time of year. As much as I love that movie (quoted in the title of this post for those wondering why I mentioned it), it is not what this post is about.
We were all in a happy mood last night because Josh officially accepted an offer to take a new position that he is pretty excited about. The job is closer to home and seems like something he will really enjoy, so we are so thankful for God’s provision.
All of the excitement led to this little wrestling match between Josh and Claire. Despite her small size, Claire had the upper hand for the majority of the time.
Kicks to the face! Point - Claire.
Josh scores a point with raspberries on Claire’s tummy.
Does Josh get the upper hand with his spoon technique?
Nope. Claire reaches up with a nose squeeze for another point.
Claire smothers her daddy with kisses to gain another point!
I don’t know if you can see just how destructive her signature move is…her fingers are actually inside Josh’s nose. This move has resulted in a nosebleed in a previous match (I chose not to take pictures of that particular moment). This debilitating move is worth 5 points in my opinion.
Final Score: Josh - 1, Claire - 8.
Much more entertaining than watching WWE, I think.

yea Josh!!! so exciting!!! and oh my goodness gracious………ELF is one of my VERY favorites!!! We have watched it every year since it has been out!! crack me up!!!!!

How cute! Congrats on the job Josh!! And I’m with you…we watch ELF several times during the Christmas season! We’ve even been known to watch it when it’s not Christmastime!
