Well we’ve actually had one for a little while, but it finally grew enough to be captured in a picture, so that’s just what I did!
Here’s another chance…
That tooth’s neighbor has yet to surface, but we know he’s almost ready.
Thankfully, Claire hasn’t fussed a lot throughout the teething process so far. She had about 2 days (during different weeks) where she was fussy. Most of the time she is all smiles and just wants to chew on stuff.
Claire has also been working on standing by herself. Especially over the past couple of days, she will stop cruising and let go. The amounts of time get longer and longer and you can tell she is so proud of herself when she does it. Of course then she comes crashing down, but at least she’s got a diaper for padding.

This shot is blurry, I know. What is important is that it captures a rare moment of standing without assistance! Of course you can tell she was on her way down at this point.
So there are TWO big milestones in progress as you are reading this! I know you can hardly contain your excitement.
I thought I would leave you with a few pictures of Josh’s creative take on Claire containment and chores.

I see it! How exciting! I love that smile of hers! And standing all by herself already?! Such a big girl!
And seriously, those overalls just may be the cutest things I have ever seen! I also liked seeing how Josh is able to get chores done… I may steal that idea and see if works for me! Let me know when you want to go on a walk! Maybe we can walk over to the park since the weather is so nice!
