This is what happens when you give our family a camera…

We’re still working on the quality, but we’re definitely increasing in quantity!

Today we went to the arboretum to hang out for the afternoon as a family and test out the new camera.  It was SUCH a beautiful day!  It was a little cloudy, a little sunny, warm with a cool breeze… perfect for enjoying God’s beautiful creations outdoors!

First we had a picnic!  Nice one of me eating…I know.  I’m just proud that my mouth isn’t wide open!

Claire entertained us in her bumbo.  See the cute onesie with her name on it?  Stacy Drake was so sweet to make that for Claire.  Thanks Stacy - it’s super cute!

The above was really cute when it was happening.  Claire kept leaning backwards with her hands outstretched because she wanted to touch my face.  During the past couple of days she has become really hands on.  I think it is because she is finally able to put her hands where she wants them to go!

Our day was really relaxing and we highly recommend our day’s outing.

As you can see, we had a great time!

In other news, Claire has gotten out of the habit of taking a bottle again.  I’m still nursing, and since I’m home with her most of the time we don’t do the bottle thing that often.  Tonight Nonna and Grumpa were so sweet to come and watch Claire while Josh and I went out for date night and Claire refused to take the bottle while we were gone.  They were so sweet about it, but I know how frustrating it is to spend the evening with a crying baby when you can’t do much to stop the crying.  I’m taking suggestions for making Claire’s bottles more appealing.  Any good tricks?
